Assuring agents and customers that all trips will go ahead, G Adventures has announced its 2013 tours will be 100 percent guaranteed to depart.

In an industry first and commencing from 1 January 2013, the Group’s founder Bruce Poon Tip said the “bold” move was made with confidence in the company’s programme of trips and forward bookings and was designed to make the agents’ job “easier”.

“The adventure travel industry has traditionally played a numbers game, with a minimum number of bookings required for a trip to depart,” he explained.  

“We’re turning that on its head – all our trips will depart, meaning agents can lock in the booking and book earlier flight prices.”

Mr Poon Tip noted that the company would be expanding its programme of trips for 2013.

The new programme is expected to be launched later this week and will include new destinations.
