Customer feedback has prompted Wendy Wu Tours to adjust its India and Sri Lanka programs, with the addition of new itineraries and features to its 2013/14 brochure. The company said the new programs would offer greater wildlife options, more cultural and historical sites, spirituality and increased interaction with local inhabitants. Among the additions will be packages to areas said to be linked to the birth, enlightenment and death of Buddha as well as historical tours through the state of Orissa and the cities of Puri and Bhubaneshwar. “The three main pilgrimage sites –Lumbini in Nepal and Bodhgaya and Kushinagar in India – had already won approval from customers,” Wendy Wu marketing manager Amanda Bruno said. The tour operator also announced the introduction of departures from Darwin for all its programs in India and Sri Lanka. |
