Compass Cars moves forward after being bought out by APTMS.

Compass Cars has sold to Asia Pacific Travel Marketing Services Pty Ltd (APTMS) and will be run as a brand focused on the markets of Britain and Ireland, eventually expanding into Europe.

Compass Cars will be run by APTMS owner and industry figure Kylee Kay.

“Understanding the consumer and travel agent’s needs when it comes to car rental is what we do," Ms Kay said.

“It seems natural to draw back on that experience and take the opportunity through Compass Cars to reignite that flame concentrating again on car rental in the coming months."

CompassCorp managing director James Frape remained optimistic regarding the future success of the business and its new ownership.

“Kylee was the influential figure behind the growth in Driveaway Holidays and I am excited to be able to now sit back and watch as she goes about doing the same to the Compass brand... I leave the business in more than good hands and look forward to seeing Kylee drive the business onwards.”
