Excite Holidays has issued a 100% database protection guarantee to its agents. Following an independent survey in early 2012, of 450 agents nationally, 85% of agents stated they were extremely concerned about wholesalers dealing directly with consumers. The intention of wholesalers to capture the consumer market means they ultimately take business away from their own agent network.

George Papaioannou, CEO of Excite Holidays, said “When agents book through a consumer site, via an agent log-in, they open the door for their clients to book directly with that site in the future. The relationship with our agents comes first.  The bottom line is, we only serve agents, and therefore their client database is protected 100%”.
