Already voted one of the world’s most affordable and friendly overseas destinations, Bali has just become even easier on the pocket thanks to a special new offer from Semara Resorts Group.

Semara Resorts Group, which operates boutique properties in Seminyak and Uluwatu, has just launched free resorts credit providing visitors with up to USD $200* free credit for food and beverage, kids club, spa treatments and more.

The resorts credit, representing 10% to 20% extra value on Semara holidays, applies when guests pre-pay for their accommodation or are past guests on a return visit who book direct on the Semara Resorts website.

A recent survey by UK-based company Hayes and Jarvis rated Bali as the third cheapest of 32 popular overseas destinations.

Sri Lanka was rated as the cheapest followed by Vietnam and then Bali. The city of Seoul in South Korea ranked as the most expensive.

The survey compared the price of restaurant meals, drinks and other items needed on holiday including basic items such as beer, a can of soft drink, a cup of coffee, alcoholic drinks, insect repellent and daily meals.

Bali averaged at a cost of approximately AUD $80.50 for a day while Sri Lanka was calculated at AUD $66. A day including basic needs in Seoul was calculated at AUD $251

The five destinations categorized as most tourist friendly and affordable were Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Bali, Mexico and Gambia.
