5. How will you spread the word that you are on social media? Eg email, on website, email signature etc.
6. Do you know what your customers are saying about you online? Without a finger on the pulse, you can't plan or evolve your social media strategy. Eg use a social media monitoring program or sign up for free alerts like Google Alert to keep track of what your customers are saying about your brand, products and services.
7. Be ever-present, so customers know where to find you when they need your help.
8. Inform your whole team and make sure they are on board with your message, otherwise, you can't be authentic and can't convert new advocates.
9. Customer service. Listen and respond appropriately, whatever the medium.
