TIME to earn a Scholarship

Friday, 17 February 2012

Opening up opportunities for people in the industry, TIME has announced the launch of the TIME Scholarship to help dedicated travel folk with a limited budget enter the Mentee program.

Utilising remaining funds from the demise of the Travel Industry Careers Association in 2006, the Scholarship worth $1,000 will be offered to TIME potential Mentees who meet the TIME requirements but lack the financial resources to undertake the program.

Candidates will be required to fill out an application that will then be judged by a Scholarship Committee comprised of Sandra Chiles, Reg Edwards and Robyn Willis Inglis.

Among the requirements include three years experience in the Australian travel industry as well as interest in progress into management.

“The Scholarship Committee will judge the applications on their merit taking into consideration how the TIME program will benefit the individual,” TIME said.
