Joe Araullo – Chief Executive

TravelManagers has announced its 2012 National Conference theme is "Working Together-Making a Difference".  Chief executive, Joe Araullo, says from a business perspective the conference objectives are centred around making a positive difference to each of their personal travel managers individual businesses and all of them collectively working together to achieve great results for each other.

“In addition to this we will also focus on the difference we can make to the communities within which we live and work, directly and indirectly, locally or further afield.”

Araullo says the guest speakers topics will also be linked to the theme.

“Terry Hawkins is a great example of what is possible when an individual becomes focused and decides to create positive change in their life. She is an inspirational speaker and I’m looking forward to hearing her present, particularly on individuals making positive differences for themselves and taking responsibility for their own success and happiness.

“Matt Church is presenting Chemistry of Success, which focuses on how as individuals by enhancing their own individual performance they are making a positive difference for themselves and those around them.”

Araullo says as a company he believes they are already making a huge difference.

“TravelManagers is a very close unit and we are often described as a family. Our Forum is a great example of how our personal travel managers are constantly caring and helping one another professionally and personally. Whether it is assistance with RTW airfare constructions, advice on how to deal with a childcare issue or the best restaurant in Paris for a special wedding anniversary, they truly do work together and make a positive difference.”

Araullo says a favourite session they run at each conference is their Personal Travel Manager Stories.

“Again linked to the theme they will talk about actions they have taken that have made the biggest difference to their business in the past year. It will involve a selection of personal travel managers so that the stories cover a broad range.”

Araullo says he couldn’t be happier with how TravelManagers is performing.

“I am very proud of every person who is involved in TravelManagers. There is a true sense of ‘team’ and an amazing sense of community. We have a strong culture based around listening and two-way conversations between our personal travel managers and the National Partnership Office. We’re very focused on working together to continuing building a strong business for the future.”

The 2012 TravelManagers National Conference will be held from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 November 2012, at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa in Denarau Fiji.
