TravelManagers representative for Haberfield in New South Wales, Ric Pattaro, was recently thrilled to be the subject of well-respected marketing blogger Sonja van den Bosch. Pattaro says he didn’t know what Inspirational Marketing was until he was interviewed and he was thrilled to learn that he was a perfect example of it.
“I absolutely love my job; in fact it doesn’t really even feel like I’m working most of the time. My whole approach to being a personal travel manager is to be sincere and honest and focus on creating the best travel experiences for my clients. I generally find if I do this the results come.”
And come they have. Pattaro has been in the Top 10 Consultants for TravelManagers since 2009 and was nominated Best Travel Consultant Corporate for the National Travel Industry Awards for 2010, 2011 and 2012.
In addition to being a blogger, van den Bosch is also the founder of Twinlife Marketing, a business that helps small and medium sized businesses get better results from their marketing. Its point of difference is its focus on Inspirational Marketing which is about being true to yourself, being aligned with your core values and doing something you truly believe in and are passionate about, as well as creating meaningful relationships with everyone you encounter.
“I’m actually a client of Ric’s and when I experienced his service I just knew he was living the dream and that his personal values were completely aligned with what he was trying to achieve work-wise. You can tell he cares and importantly you can tell that he loves what he is doing.”
van den Bosch says she knew without even asking him that he would be highly successful at what he did.
“Ric’s attention to detail, the fact he genuinely cares that your travel arrangements are correct, the little extra touches he puts in place and his ability to remember things about me and my family all result in creating meaningful relationships with your clients. In turn as clients we feel loved and appreciated and without even thinking about it recommend him. We think nothing of raving about the high level of service we receive from Ric to our friends and business colleagues. It’s the perfect example of Inspirational Marketing and so as a result I just had to blog about him.”
Joining TravelManagers four years ago took a lot of courage as Pattaro signed up as a personal travel manager without any clients at all. Today, he is consistently one of TravelManagers top 10 and with over 360 nationwide it is something to be proud about.
“Yes I’m hugely proud but also very grateful to TravelManagers for encouraging and supporting me. They just don’t see barriers only opportunities. I have my own Business Partnership Manager who is their solely to help me grow my business in the direction I want to take it. It’s great having someone to bounce ideas off against and who is connected in the industry. I just wish I’d heard of TravelManagers earlier and done it sooner.”
van den Bosch says when you practise Inspirational Marketing you rarely have to advertise as the referrals speak for themselves.
“Ric’s business has largely been built from happy clients, like me, raving about him and the service levels he provides. The blog post received lots of good comments from people because you could tell from reading it how true it was. I wrote this bit in my blog but Ric concluded the interview with a few words of wisdom I believe that everyone should live by ‘You’ve got to love what you do, because if you love what you do it actually comes across to your clients,’ I couldn’t have written it better myself.” Here is the link to Sonja van den Bosch’s blog on Ric Pattaro: http://inspirationalmarketing.com.au/everything-i-do-comes-from-being-sincere-honest-and-wanting-my-clients-to-have-an-absolutely-amazing-time/
