Travel Counsellors take on San Fran and Napa Valley

Friday, 21 September 2012

Eight lucky Travel Counsellors have just returned from an amazing famil taking in all the sights and sounds that San Francisco has to offer, followed by some wine tasting, wine making and culinary delights in the beautiful Napa Valley region.

The eight day famil was hosted in partnership with Virgin Australia and Trafalgar and included visits to the world famous Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown, Fisherman’s Wharf, Castello di Amorosa in the Napa Valley, ‘Hippie’ ground-zero in the Haight-Ashbury neighbourhood, all making it a truly special experience. The group also enjoyed the unique experiences provided by Trafalgar’s 'Be My Guest' dinner, and the ‘Hidden Treasure’ locations in both San Francisco and the Napa Valley.

Melbourne based Travel Counsellor Christine Jenkins was one of the lucky agents to attend the famil; “The opportunity to experience both Virgin Australia and Trafalgar’s product has meant that I can now confidently recommend this region and services to my clients. I particularly enjoyed the pace of the tour giving us time to revisit some of the sights of the areas and spend more time there, such as the Haight-Ashbury tour, a real hidden gem.”

Paolo Valle, Travel Counsellors Head Office representative on the famil comments: “What a truly amazing trip thank you to Virgin Australia and Trafalgar for giving us the opportunity to experience such a wonderful destination.”
