Cycling enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice during next year’s Tour Down Under, with InterContinental Adelaide offering exclusive services to all guests.

The hotel will cater for a cyclist’s every need during the big race, with a full time Bike Concierge and a Bike Doctor on staff at InterContinental Adelaide from January 18 to 28.

The Bike Concierge will be the first to attend to the bike. When a cycling guest arrives at InterContinental Adelaide, the Bike Concierge will carefully deliver the precious cargo up to the guest’s room. From 6.30am to 8.30am, the Bike Doctor, a dedicated and qualified bike mechanic, will be on-site offering basic services, including safety checks and adjustments, to guests’ bikes. Both services are complimentary to all InterContinental Adelaide guests.

The world’s best cyclists will compete in the 2013 Tour Down Under, which will be held in Adelaide and regional South Australia from January 20 to 27.
South Australia becomes a cycling hub during January with thousands of cycling fans taking to the streets to watch the race and join in the community rides.

To celebrate this great event, InterContinental Adelaide launches the Tour Down Under package including overnight accommodation in a Club InterContinental guest room, access to the Club Lounge for evening canapés and breakfast daily, all from AU$290* per night. The package also includes access to the Bike Concierge and Bike Doctor.

In keeping with the Tour Down Under spirit, InterContinental Adelaide will launch the new summer menu at the Atrium bar for health conscious guests including healthy juices, mocktails, salads and yoghurt. Guests can also purchase gourmet picnic hampers filled with fresh South Australian produce to enjoy while watching the big race trackside.
