Free internet for all guests

Wednesday, 5 December 2012

Meriton Serviced Apartments leads the way in 2013 with their introduction of free internet for all guests at all properties across Australia.

As of the 1st January 2013 all guests staying with Meriton Serviced Apartments will receive free internet in their apartments. This initiative from Meriton is long overdue in the accommodation sector.

National Manager, Matthew Thomas said “Hotels in general are behind the times with technology and the internet; as more guests are using portable devices the need to connect to the internet is more important than ever”, “Coffee shop chains and fast food giants have offered free in-store internet for a long time; and now it’s our turn to deliver on our guests expectations.”

Thomas also said… that international travellers were often shocked at the daily charge for internet use. This feedback was the basis for us deciding that in 2013 all guests staying with us would benefit from free internet. We are keeping our existing infrastructure, high speed connection and service agreements, however removing the charge to our guests. The daily limit is 1GB and higher users can opt to pay for additional limits if and when required.

Free internet starts 1st January 2013 at all eleven Meriton Serviced Apartments hotels across Sydney, Brisbane and on the Gold Coast.

Indulge in the evolution of hotel accommodation, with our contemporary collection of serviced apartments. You’re sure to find exactly what you are looking for with more space, more freedom and more choices. Stay your way.
