Leading Australian agencies Complete Travel Marketing and The Mint Partners have been brought on board to manage the marketing and PR respectively for bespoke Thai hotel group, Sukosol Hotels. Both agencies will be bringing the group’s authentic Thai properties to Australian travellers, which include newly renovated The Sukosol (Bangkok), recently opened urban luxury resort The Siam (Bangkok), Siam Bayshore (Pattaya), The Bayview (Pattaya) and Wave (Pattaya, opening January 2013). Complete Travel Marketing is a sales and marketing representation company of excellent repute and is focused on delivering a value proposition to international hotels ‘We are delighted to be working closely with the Sukosol family and promoting the newly re-branded Sukosol Hotel Group to the Australian market’ says Charlie Ridout, director at Complete Travel Marketing. The Mint Partners is a luxury lifestyle PR agency looking after clients including QT Sydney, Art Series Hotel Groups, David Jones, The Keystone Group and The Byron at Byron Resort & Spa. Genevieve Taubman, director at The Mint Partners, said: “Sukosol Hotels are a wonderful brand to be working with and we’re delighted to be bringing their bespoke Thai brand to Australian travellers. The Sukosol family are the most amazing hoteliers in Thailand as well as huge philanthropists. It’s a real honour to represent their unique properties in Australia.” “Both The Mint Partners and Complete Travel Marketing having strong reputations, years of solid experience and impeccable contacts in the Australia travel market, and that is exactly why we chose to work with them,” said Marisa Sukosol Nunbhakdi, executive vice president of Sukosol Hotels. “We are very excited about this partnership and look forward to introducing a whole new group of independent-minded, intrepid travellers to our award-winning Thai properties.” One of the first jobs for the agencies is to promote the group’s relaunch of their city-centre Bangkok property under its new name, The Sukosol, following a multi-million baht transformation. Formerly known as the Siam City Hotel, The Sukosol is a unique Bangkok landmark and the 'grande dame' of the Sukosol Hotels collection. Treasured by admirers of art and culture and experience-seeking travellers who appreciate a human touch, the hotel embodies the modern and welcoming personality of Thailand. The unveiling of the property as The Sukosol also marks the group's official launch of Sukosol Hotels, the new group name to encompass existing and pipeline properties. The Siam, an all-suite, urban luxury resort located along the Chao Praya River in Bangkok’s historic, royal Dusit district, was the hottest hotel opening of the year when it swung open its doors in August, and will be another key focus for the agencies. |
