The Travel Industry Mentor Experience (TIME) is now calling for applications from interested industry professionals for its 2013 scholarship program. With a mission to: To provide knowledge, guidance and advice to aspirational individuals within the Travel and Tourism industry allowing them to advance and grow their career  TIME, has established a scholarship program to encourage wider participation by individuals from the travel and tourism sector.

TIME targets not just those individuals employed in major tourism and travel organisations, but also the small business owners and start up tourism operators. It delivers an invaluable six month mentoring experience designed to grow the individual personally and professionally.

The scholarship will enable the successful individual to participate in a peer environment of networking and to have “one on one” meetings with an experienced senior industry Mentor who is willing to guide and share their expertise, experience and contacts with their Mentee. It is all about the Mentee and their aspirations, what they wish to achieve in their lives and careers.

Past Mentees tell tales of growth, achievements and overcoming perceived insurmountable obstacles. They acknowledge the invaluable support of their Mentors in challenging and guiding them over the six months of the program and the long term relationships that are developed outside their present industry network.

The TIME Mentoring Program is open to employees from all sectors of travel and tourism including start up business operators. To apply for the scholarship ideally, you will have worked for a minimum of three years in the Australian travel industry.
