DAY 01: YANGON ARRIVAL – CITY HIGHLIGHTS (-/-/-)
Arrival in Yangon, Myanmar, one of the most fascinating cities of Southeast Asia. Take a walk through the city centre to see Yangon’s architectural mixture: the historic Post Office, gilded Sule Paya, the heritage Strand Hotel, Maha Bandula Park & the Independence Monument. Continue to visit the green Kandawagyi Park and the Shwedagon Pagoda.

DAY 02: YANGON – Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) (B/-/-)
After breakfast, proceed to Kyaikhtiyo. At Kinpun Base camp, use an open truck to go up the hermit “Yathae Hil”. Then, continue 1 hour walking up hills to the summit. Porters and palanquins are available to carry luggage and pilgrims those who don’t want to walk. Visit the Golden Rock standing on a gilded boulder precariously perched on the edge of a hill

DAY 03: KYAIKHTIYO -BAGO -YANGON (B/-/-)
After breakfast, walk down to Yathe hill and then take the open truck back to Kinpun Base camp. From there pick up by our private vehicle and transfer back to Yangon. Stop en route at Bago, visit Mon-style Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Shwethalyaung Buddha, Kyaikpun Pagoda, and stop at the Allied War Cemetery in Taukkyan.

DAY 04: YANGON – BAGAN – TEMPLE TOUR (B/-/-)
Flight to Bagan, visit the colorful Nyaung U Market, Shwezigon Pagoda, the cave temple of Wetkyi-in Gubyaukkyi and the lacquer ware workshop to learn more about traditional Myanmar lacquer ware making. In the afternoon, visit Ananda Temple, the adjacent brick monastery and Thatbyinnyu Temple, the tallest temple measuring 61m. Continue to Dhammayangyi Temple, the largest of all temples in Bagan. Finally, climb up one of the monuments to enjoy sunset above Bagan plain and Ayeyarwady River.

DAY 05: BAGAN – SALAY – MOUNT POPA – BAGAN (B/-/-)
Drive to the South of Bagan to Salay. Stop en route to visit the colorful morning market in Chauk. Arrivalin Salay, visit Yoke Sone Monastery and Shinbin Maha Laba Man Paya. Continue to Mount Popa and climb to the top to have an impressive view over the surrounding regions.

DAY 06: BAGAN – MANDALAY – AMARAPURA (B/-/-)
In the morning, flight to Mandalay to visit Mahagandayone Monastery and observe the lunch process of hundreds of monks who take their last meal of the day at 10:00 AM. Walk over the U Bein Bridge, visit the Mahamuni Pagoda and Shwenandaw Monastery; the renovated Atumashi Monastery which is referred as incomparable monastery and the ‘world’s largest book’ at Kuthodaw Pagoda, being the Buddhist Scriptures inscribed on marble slabs. Go up the top of Mandalay Hill, a vantage point for panoramic view of the city and spectacular sunset view.

DAY 07: MANDALAY – MINGUN & AVA (B/-/-)
Take a boat trip on the Ayeyarwaddy River to Mingun to visit Mingun Bell, the beautiful Hsinbyume Paya (also known as Myatheintan Pagoda) and the unfinished Mingun Paya. After that, back to Mandalay. In the afternoon, take the local ferry to the former capital of Inwa (Ava), have horse cart ride to visit Maha Aungmye Bonzan. Climb up the top of Nanmyin Watchtower to have lovely views over the river. Continue to the impressive wooden monastery of Bagaya Kyaung, and if time permits, visit some local handicraft workshops of silk weaving, mats and alms bowls.

DAY 08: MANDALAY – HEHO – PINDAYA – INLE LAKE (B/-/-)
In the morning, flight to Heho. Visit Pindaya Cave, Shan umbrella and mulberry paper production home industry. In the afternoon, drive back to Nyaung Shwe, the gateway village to Inle Lake. Take a boat ride to your hotel.

DAY 09: INLE LAKE (B/-/-)
Take a boat ride around tranquil villages on stilts and floating gardens, see Intha fishermen with their unique one-legged rowing skills and special method of fishing. Visit Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda and continue to traditional handicrafts workshops, Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery then return to your hotel by boat.

DAY 10: INLE LAKE – INDEIN – HEHO – YANGON (B/-/-)
After breakfast, proceed to Indein, the hidden treasure of Pa-O ethnic tribes on Western bank of the lake to see the ruined pagodas in the forest. After that, flight back to Yangon.Free at leisure.

DAY 11: YANGON DEPARTURE (B/-/-)
Drive to Strand Road. Walk along Yangon River to see daily activities of local people at the busy jetty area. Continue to Botataung Pagoda, then browse through Bogyoke Market, formerly known as Scott’s Market – Yangon’s best market for handicrafts. Finally, transfer to Yangon airport for our departure flight.
