Scoot adds to new cities in China.
 
 

Singapore-based no frills airline, Scoot has launched the only low-cost link from Singapore to Shenyang and Qingdao .

Commencing late last week, the three times weekly service operates on a Singapore – Qingdao – Shenyang – Qingdao – Singapore route.

The carrier’s chief executive Campbell Wilson said the two cities were selected for strategic purposes and tourism appeal.

“Qingdao, a coastal city of nearly 9m world famous for its great beer, is regularly judged China’s most liveable city,” he explained.  

“Shenyang... is a strategic gateway to North East China.”

The route runs on the following timetable:

Northbound

Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2

Depart 1.30am

Qingdao International Airport

Arrive 7.30am / Depart 8.30am

Shenyang Taoxian International Airport

Arrive 10.15am

Southbound

Shenyang Taoxian International Airport

Depart 11.20am

Qingdao International Airport

Arrive 12.50pm / Depart 1.50pm

Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2

Arrive 8.00pm
