The travel industry has lost a positive spirit and close friend after the announcement that Royal Caribbean Australia's Allison Brennan passed away late last week.

According to the D'Arcy Partnership's Michelle Tan, Ms Brennan passed on Friday due to natural causes.

“As anyone who’s met Allison knows, it’s hard not to be moved by her positivity and joie de vivre,” Ms Tan said.  

“Hence why even though she had only been with the company for a few months, we are all saddened by the news and she will be deeply missed.”

Ms Brennan was Royal Caribbean Australia's public relations manager for Australia and New Zealand.
