Garuda Indonesia, Indonesia's national airline, now takes passengers through the heart of Melbourne's CBD on a newly branded maxi-tram. The tram showcases the very best of the Garuda Indonesia Experience and is an integral element of the airline's national integrated marketing campaign which includes print, television and other outdoor channels. "The campaign strives to communicate what it's like to travel with the world's most improved airline and directly targets Melbournians as they go about their day - and what's more iconic than a tram in Victoria," comments Bagus Y. Siregar, Vice President for Garuda Indonesia Australia/South West Pacific. "In 2012 we continue our transformation into one of Asia's most successful airlines and this campaign highlights Garuda Indonesia's investment in a young and modern fleet, as well as our unique inflight services such as immigration-on-board", adds Mr. Siregar. Passengers flying into Melbourne can continue their journey on Garuda Indonesia's newly branded tram until the 5th of August 2012. |
