Hertz Australia has expanded its fleet of Sports Utility Vehicle models to provide even greater choice for customers.

Hertz now offers both an SUV Class and a Large SUV Class, reflecting the addition of smaller, more fuel-efficient models.

The Toyota Rav 4 and Nissan X Trail models now are available in the SUV category, while the Large SUV class features the popular Toyota Kluger and Ford Territory vehicles.

“The creation of two SUV classes is part of a broader fleet review we have undertaken in response to feedback from our customers, who increasingly are seeking a wider choice of vehicles, as well as the opportunity to minimise their fuel expenses without sacrificing vehicle functionality,” said Chris Rusden, Region Vice President, Managing Director Australasia for Hertz.

“In the case of SUVs, many customers want to rent smaller versions of the vehicles we are offering already,” Mr Rusden said.

“We have responded by sourcing two of the most popular small SUVs in the market, and we are now progressively adding these vehicles to our fleets around Australia.”

Hertz is the largest worldwide airport general use car rental brand, operating from approximately 8,500 locations in 146 countries, including over 200 locations in Australia.
