Responsibilities – Job Profile
- Develop business relationships with new and existing tour operators, wholesalers, internal travel portals, in Melbourne, Perth and New Zealand
- Manage all prospective wholesalers in assigned regions
- Develop sales strategies and development programs to increase sales in assigned regions.
- Develop sales plans to achieve optimum coverage of accounts.
- Initiate and execute action plans to source and develop new clients.
- Train clients to book via our website
- Sell all our products and online services, Hotels, Transfers, Excursions, Rent-a-car through our different distribution channels, offline, online and XML Transactions
- Support clients in their IT requirements and XML Integrations
- Support clients with customer service and accounts
- Submit monthly Sales Reports, new projects, competition status and market information
- Monitor and meet sales targets
- Identify potential business within these regions
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma holder, with at least 5 years' sales experience in the travel industry.
- Travel industry sales experience is essential in this role. Those with work experience in hotels will also be preferred.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Dynamic, outgoing, with a high degree of customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, highly independent, innovative, creative, and results-oriented.
- Strong computer skills.
- Frequent travelling is required.
- Must possess own transport.
- Driven, hardworking, and goal-oriented individual.
