Ahead of the European ‘earlybird’ season, Malaysia Airlines (MH) is offering Australian travel agents 10 percent commission on all tickets issued this coming month.

Running for the period 17 September to 15 October, tickets issued on MH 232 ticket paper through Australian BSP will attract the 10 percent commission irrespective of travel dates.

MH tickets issued for travel originating outside of Australia will still attract six percent commission while all other tickets issued will remain the same as previous.

Meanwhile the airline experienced problems on a flight from Chennai to Kuala Lumpur on 15 Sep after low cabin pressure caused it to divert to Penang.

The A330-200 aircraft operating flight MH181 was in the final phase of the journey when the oxygen masks were released as a precautionary measure before the flight landed safely with 195 passengers onboard.
