Asia’s newest low cost carrier Scoot and the region’s leading travel metasearch site Wego have announced a commercial agreement to integrate Scoot fares into over 50 Wego country sites globally.

From today, Wego users will see Scoot’s expanding network schedules, airfares and availability in real-time, alongside the other carriers and suppliers serving the same routes.  Scoot currently flies from Singapore to Sydney, the Gold Coast, Bangkok, Tianjin and Taipei and will shortly commence Shenyang, Qingdao and Tokyo.

Scoot is offering fares from Singapore as low as S$168 to Sydney or the Gold Coast and S$178 to Taipei.

“It’s great to be adding Scoot to our growing list of low cost and full service carrier partners,” said Ross Veitch, Wego Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder, “Scoot’s mid to long haul routes are well-travelled by Wego users and the addition of Scoot will see travellers unlock significant savings. Indeed on the day Scoot launched their Singapore-Sydney fares all work in the Wego Singapore office ground to a halt for an hour with many staff quickly booking unplanned weekends away.”

Scoot’s Chief Executive Officer, Campbell Wilson adds, “For Scoot, the partnership with Wego extends our reach and helps introduce Scoot to new customers.  It’s a great partnership.”

The new carrier gains an audience of millions just as they are using the comparison tool to finalise travel plans. Deep links from Wego search results into the booking path on www.flyscoot.com enable users to quickly and easily conclude their booking.
