Virgin Australia seeks to codeshare with Etihad on the Thailand route.

Virgin Australia has requested approval for Etihad Airways to codeshare on Virgin Australia services on the Thailand route.

The International Air Services Commission (IASC) received an application from Virgin Australia for a variation of Determination [2009] IASC 133 and is now accepting submissions.

The closing date for notice of intention to make a submission is 23 November 2012, with all final submissions due by 30 November 2012.

In reference to Virgin Australia’s request to extend the date for utilisation of capacity on the Bangladesh route, the Commission has stated it will proceed in the way it normally does in relation to such requests; therefore the notice inviting submissions is withdrawn.
