Online wholesaler Excite Holidays is looking forward to an exciting 2012 following the review of last year which saw the company strengthen its position through strong sales via TravelManagers. CEO of Excite Holidays, George Papaioannou says TravelManagers reached record growth sales of 187 percent in 2011 compared to the previous year.

“It’s encouraging to see these record sales results coming through and I’m proud of the effort of my sales and operational teams and with our on-going partnership with TravelManagers. We feel privileged in being part of their success and look forward to continuing to strengthen our relationship with them in 2012.”

Papaioannou says through TravelManagers they have gained a solid understanding of the specific needs of the mobile travel agent (personal travel manager) and offering a wide variety of room types and rates was a key point of difference Excite offered over other traditional wholesalers.

Chairman of TravelManagers Barry Mayo says the partnership is mutually beneficial.
