Amadeus, a leading travel technology partner and transaction processor for the global travel and tourism industry, and The Lido Group, a leading independent accommodation and travel aggregator, have signed an agreement which will see Lido’s Australian Accommodation Data Exchange (AADX) integrated into Amadeus’ award-winning front office solution, Amadeus Selling Platform, using Amadeus’ Smart Tab technology.
Amadeus Smart Tab technology enables the easy integration of external content into the Amadeus Passenger Name Record (PNR), streamlining processes, reducing errors and improving travel consultant productivity. Data can be made available to mid and back office applications, removing the need to move between various screens or re-type data into third party applications.
The Smart Tab will integrate AADX government and academic content directly into the booking (front office) environment, providing agents with access to extensive corporate and government accommodation content. Agents using the Amadeus Selling Platform will no longer need to access AADX content from a separate platform, with the booking information displayed in the same PNR as air and car segments and consolidated into one single itinerary.
