SIA increases fuel surcharges

Singapore Airlines to increase fuel surcharges

As a result of continued high fuel prices Singapore Airlines has announced they will be increasing their fuel surcharge for tickets issued on or after 8 March 2012.

According to Singapore Airlines jet fuel prices are increasing and fuel currently accounts for 40 percent of the carriers Group expenditure.

The new fuel surcharge levels in the table below will apply to both Singapore Airlines and SilkAir flights.  The increases represent an increase between USD2 and USD28 per sector, depending on the distance and class of travel.
