A little more than a year after launching flights, AirAsia has pulled out of flights between Darwin and Bali. In a sudden move this week, the carrier axed its four times weekly service leaving passengers searching for alternative arrangements, NT News reported. According to Darwin Airport management, passenger were advised of cancellations via text messages and emails and have been urged to move their flights before 29 April this year when the last Darwin to Bali service will operate. Darwin Airport’s services director Jim Parashos said the cut was a part of the carrier’s review that will also see the termination of services to Paris, London, India and Indonesia. |
