Thursday, 13 September 2012

Travelzoo Australia, owned and operated by Travelzoo Asia Pacific, a licensee of global Internet media company Travelzoo Inc., today announced the launch of its new Destination Page on the Travelzoo Australia website. The Destination Page will showcase various destinations in partnership with tourism boards to help stimulate awareness, interest and drive incremental demand via its 740,000 high quality, frequent leisure traveller audience.

“We are excited to launch the Destination Page in Australia following the successful roll out across the North American and European Travelzoo websites,” said Mr. Paul Marshall, Managing Director of Travelzoo Australia. “We have seen strong interest from tourism boards wanting to work with Travelzoo and the Destination Page is the perfect platform for us to showcase their destinations.”

Tourism Fiji will today launch a month-long campaign on Travelzoo showcasing Fiji’s warm tropical climate and friendly island atmosphere. “Travelzoo’s unique position in the market and their broad reach to a highly engaged online travel audience aligns extremely well with our marketing objectives,” said Mr. Paresh Pant, Regional Director Australia for Tourism Fiji. “Their ability to bring together researched deals through their relationships with travel suppliers means the Destination Page will be rich with relevant content and provide a great user experience, which should lead to some fantastic results.”

Fiji is a popular destination among Travelzoo subscribers, consistently achieving the highest number of clicks in the Top 20™ newsletter published each Wednesday. “Our subscribers simply love Fiji as a destination because of its proximity to Australia, world-class properties, kid-friendly activities and warm tropical weather,” adds Mr. Paul Marshall.
