Enhancements link travellers to the perfect hotel: Sabre

Sabre Pacific’s latest release for its online booking engine, Sabre Explore, has ‘substantially enhanced’ hotel search functionality for customers.

The amendments were rolled out earlier in September, providing users with a greater extent of information.

“Travellers can now search using city name, street name or even points of interest, to ensure they can find accommodation close to their required destination,” Sabre Pacific chief information officer and head of product Mark Mison said.

“Additionally, travellers can search for specific amenities, to ensure a given hotel answers their needs.”

Sabre Explore’s new technology also enables travellers to book multiple hotel rooms, specify the number of guests and take advantage of a book now - pay after checkout process to avoid change or cancellation fees.

“We're always improving our locally developed products in conjunction with the evolving needs of our clients [so] travellers can now more easily find and book their perfect hotel,” Mr Mison said.
