Revealed: Aussie women using work time to plan vacations

Wednesday, 28 November 2012

Forget Facebook and solitaire, it seems Australian women are using their work hours to plan and book their vacations, a recent report has revealed.

According to lastminute.com.au, nearly three in four women admit to researching or bookings their holidays during their work day, 81 percent of women claiming they felt more motivated at work when they have a holiday to look forward to.

The report also showed that, contrary to popular belief, two in three women would prefer to travel with their partner over a celebrity. Although it wouldn’t all be love and romance, with 16 percent of women worried their partner would get on their nerves when on holidays.

The one in three who would want a star-studded vacay would prefer to spend time off with Hugh Jackman, Chris Hemsworth, Asher Keddie and Rebecca Gibney.
