Sabre, AA settle dispute with distribution agreement

The multi-year renewal includes American Airlines agreeing to negotiate with Sabre for additional technology services in the future

Sabre Holdings and American Airlines have renewed their current distribution agreement after settling their disputes as announced in a joint statement.

The multi-year renewal includes American Airlines agreeing to negotiate with Sabre for additional technology services in the future.

Part of the settlement includes a monetary payment from Sabre to American Airlines, who will continue pursuing its direct connect initiative.

The settlement and distribution agreements will be reviewed and require approval by the court presiding over AMR Corporation’s restructuring procedures.
