Sabre, AA settle row with distribution agreement

Friday, 2 November 2012

Sabre Holdings and American Airlines have renewed their current distribution agreement after settling their disputes, the companies have announced.

As part of the multi-year deal, American has agreed to negotiate with Sabre for additional technology services in the future.

Part of the settlement includes a monetary payment from Sabre to American, who will continue pursuing its direct connect initiative.

The settlement and distribution agreements will be reviewed and will require approval by the court presiding over AA parent company, AMR Corporation’s restructuring procedures.
