Jetstar’s public relations team were forced to clean-up after a prankster set up a fake Facebook page impersonating the low-cost carrier. In a Facebook statement, the carrier apologised to its fans for some of the blunt and “inappropriate” responses left on customer feedback, Ninemsn reported. The prankster reportedly told a customer to not be “such a tight ass” when she asked if the carrier was planning a sale on flights between Melbourne and the Gold Coast. Meanwhile one customer having problems was told to “give up” and stop acting “like a spoilt brat”, while another complaining over changed flight details was told her flight had been cancelled. Although some affected customers may have failed to find the humour behind the incident, others said it was amusing, with one man claiming it was “hilarious”. |
