EK passengers take control of their booking online

Friday, 10 February 2012

Emirates passengers will now have the option to change the time or date of their travel and add or upgrade flights as the airline offers an enhanced website functionality allowing travellers to take their travel plans into their own hands.

Passengers will be able to change their travel itinerary online at anytime, regardless of whether the passenger booked online via the Emirates’ website, with an Emirates agent or over the phone.

Vice President E-Commerce at Emirates Bob Kabli advised in a media release that Emirates’ goal to make travel as seamless and enjoyable comes by adding the ‘change a booking’ functionality online.

“Now, thanks to the online feature, a family deciding to add a stopover to their holiday plans, a businessperson who needs to see their client a day earlier than expected or friends who decide to upgrade and experience Emirates’ award-winning First Class service can change their Emirates booking by simply logging on,” Mr Kabli said.

The online change functionality has been implemented across all Emirates’ global websites, in all languages.  Passengers simply need to log on using their last name and booking reference number online to experience the enhanced features.  For more information, go to www.emirates.com and choose “Manage an Existing Booking” from the homepage menu.
