Niseko is one of Japan’s premier snow resorts. Niseko comprises four interlinked class ski fields on the one mountain “Mount Annupuri”. They are Niseko Annupuri, Niseko Village, Hirafu and Hanazono.

New for 2012 is Hirafu’s brand new 8 seat gondola, an exclusive kids ski lesson area at the base of Hirafu. Niseko offers some great ski-in/ski-out accommodation with a variety of apartments, western hotels and lodges catering to all budgets.

Our Hokkaido branch staff are very excited for the coming season as the first few flakes of snow have fallen. The mountain has been shrouded in cloud overnight, but when the weather lifted it revealed what snow bunnies look for at this time of year – that is the sight of snow dusting the ski runs.

Temperatures have been steadily dropping in recent weeks with overnight minimums below 10 degrees celsius and daily maxes around 15 degrees celsius.
