As part of its code share agreement with Singapore Airlines, Virgin Australia has requested regulatory approval to implement partnership flights on services from Australia to Singapore – Taipei. Hoping to fly alongside its alliance partner on the Taiwan route from 29 October this year, Virgin Australia has requested the International Air Services Commission (IASC) approve the allocation of up to 1,000 seats per sector for a period of up to five years. IASC has invited other applications for the capacity to be submitted by 13 March this year and intention to submit by close of business 13 March this year. |
