Since the Lake Geneva Region’s tourist office first launched its free iPad app in March this year, they have already attracted more than 2000 downloads and figures continue to steadily rise.

With about 1500 updates since it first launched, users have instant access to everything on the Lake Geneva Region including general destinational information, history and events.

Director Australia & New Zealand of Switzerland Tourism, Evelyn Lafone, says this app was developed in response to the growing popularity of the region with many visitors looking for instant information on activities and events prior and during their visits.

“With this app, visitors can easily stay informed of new developments and special activities that may be taking place in the region,” says Lafone. “And for even more information, brochures from the different destinations including Lausanne, Montreux Riviera and the Alps are also available for download.”

The app and all of the publications available for download are free of charge.
