Global travel industry business services provider, Travelport has signed a long term agreement with Qantas effective immediately. Under the new agreement Galileo, Worldspan and Apollo-connected travel agents around the world will gain access to Qantas’ full published inventory, including ancillary content consistent with the Qantas website. Travelport’s vice president of supplier services Andrew Middleton expressed delight with the agreement that will secure important Qantas content the provider’s travel agency customers worldwide. Qantas advance seat selection product enabling new booking capability for agents to book and pay for preferred seats on Qantas flights via their desktop was available to Travelport subscribers last year. Qantas’ executive general manager, domestic sales, distribution and marketing Stephen Limbrick said “We are pleased to reach this agreement and look forward to strengthening our long term relationship.” |
