Crown Perth launches biggest billboard in WA

Monday, 15 October 2012
This Monday, 15 October, Crown Perth will install the biggest outdoor billboard in WA, with this large and unique piece of signage likely to become an iconic landmark in our City of Perth.

The billboard is the largest in Western Australia and the second largest Australia wide, measuring 24m in height and 24.8m in width, weighing in at a whopping 200 kilograms!

To be located at 251 Adelaide Terrace in East Perth, the billboard can be seen from some of Perth’s most central and well known locations, including St Georges Terrace, Riverside Drive and even Kings Park, and is set to become a familiar sight to all of the locals living and working in buildings throughout Perth.

Print Logic and Epico have worked together on the project, and installation is going to create quite a spectacle in the hub of the city, with the combination of a purpose built lift and six abseilers required to install the 200 kilogram banner. The sign had to be printed in 8 x 3.15m wide sections welded together.

The sheer size and scale of the advertisement is aimed to create a huge impact and is set to generate a lot of interest and discussion; Epico describes the billboard as “High Impact Advertising.”

Crown Perth has officially landed in our city!
