Agencies across Australia and New Zealand using Sabre Agency Manager are now able to process payments more accurately and efficiently after Sabre Pacific introduced a range of updates this week. The latest enhancements allow Sabre-connected agents to charge traveller credit cards and pay suppliers through eNett, offer BPAY as a form of payment, provide travellers with easy deposit payment plans and bundle individual costings into a uniform package price. Sabre Pacific CIO and Head of Product, Mark Mison, says that in addition to Sabre Agency Manager's existing range of payment options, Sabre agents can now use eNett to charge booking fees or consolidate payments, such as air tickets, insurance and more to save agents time, increase their efficiency and reduce errors. "Additionally, Sabre Agency Manager's payment gateway has been greatly enhanced with the introduction of eNett to automatically pay suppliers. This ensures all payments are issued on time, while making sure travel accounting can be easily reconciled," says Mison. The introduction of BPAY as a form of payment offers Sabre-connected agencies additional flexibility in collecting funds from their travellers. Once configured to Sabre Agency Manager, the agency’s BPAY details will appear on documentation providing travellers with easy instructions on how to pay for the booked itinerary. "The latest enhancements also provide Sabre-connected agents the ability to offer an easy deposit plan to their travellers, as Sabre Agency Manager documents will identify the amount and the due date, ensuring funds are paid in a timely manner. Agents can also bundle individual costings and create package pricing for their travellers. This greatly enhances the agency’s ability to offer one price for multiple costing. Plus we’ve enhanced the way invoices can be raised, giving agents the choice of which costs to include in an invoice, regardless of charge type. In addition we’ve implemented partial invoicing functionality for added flexibility,” says Mison. Earlier in the year, Sabre dramatically ramped up investment in Sabre Agency Manager to keep at the forefront of customer expectations. "Sabre Pacific is dedicated to providing locally-developed products to suit the unique needs of the Pacific marketplace. The efficiency-saving, revenue-enhancing updates agents are seeing today are a direct result of the expanded investment we announced just a few months ago," says Mison. |
