Leading artists perform at annual New Year’s Eve concert

Do you like The Beatles?

Do you like Elton John?

Do you like Les Miserables?

Did you like the music from Dances with the Wolves?

If your answer is yes to the above, you can join ARIA winning singer Anthony Callea, as he makes his debut at the renowned annual New Year’s Eve concert, with the Australian Philharmonic Orchestra (APO).

With 2012 marking 31 years since the first Christmas and New Year’s Eve series launched, Anthony Callea will add this performance to his already impressive resume and he joins an illustrious group of singers who have previously performed at this event such as Luciano Pavarotti, Jose Carreras, Cliff Richard and Ray Charles.

Callea will be joined on stage by the 65 piece APO together with Greta Bradman, Young Talent Time star Denis Walter (MC), opera sensation Roy Best and multi-talented stage performer Silvie Paladino
Performances will take place at the Opera House on the 27th, 28th and 29th December in Sydney and then at the Hamer Hall in Melbourne on New Year’s Eve.

The audience this year will be able to sing along to their favourite songs from The Beatles and Elton John. They will also hear scores from Hollywood blockbusters together with Les Miserables.
