Brad Jukes from Acland Travel tells us how training, support, IT and account management teams all supported his successful migration to Sabre

One of the main reasons for customers' not wanting to change GDS's is because of the pain of change in doing so. This month we're breaking that myth to look at what's involved in a successful migration to Sabre.
It starts with training. Once we have received your contract we will arrange for your team to be trained on all the products your team need. We ask questions and provide your agency with training that is relevant to your requirements - we start off with face-to-face training; but there's always virtual and online training available as well.
Along with scheduling the most relevant and timely training for your team-members, we also discuss with you the best option for your migration date. We consider things like: BSP periods, end of the month, public holidays and other important business and accounting impacts. Then, once we've decided on that mutually agreeable date - it's full steam ahead. On your chosen date all your hardware and software will be installed onsite by a Sabre technician. You will also have your dedicated account manager on site to ensure a seamless migration and two support teams, one based in Australia and the other in Uruguay to answer any questions you have.
