Cruise Council Opens cruise3sixty Registrations

Wednesday, 14 November 2012

Registrations are now open for next year’s cruise3sixty conference in North America, with the International Cruise Council Australasia once again coordinating a local delegation.

The official travel agency conference of the cruise industry in North America, cruise3sixty offers a diverse program of educational sessions and networking opportunities.

Next year’s event will be held from June 18 to 23 in Vancouver, with attendees also able to take advantage of the opportunity to inspect a range of international ships visiting the port.

ICCA General Manager Brett Jardine said the conference, operated by US sister organisation Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), was an excellent way to learn the latest news from cruise industry leaders and US-based cruise agents.

The educational program includes training and professional development seminars, destination and product workshops, hands-on technology training and cruise updates from CLIA-member cruise lines.

ICCA members can take advantage of a conference participation fee of A$1495 per person twin share, which covers full cruise3sixty conference participation, a welcome cocktail function and exclusive ICCA seminar plus five nights’ accommodation at the Renaissance Vancouver Harbourside Hotel and daily breakfast.

Return international airfares to Vancouver and transfers are additional.

Mr Jardine said members could also take advantage of a Rocky Mountaineer add-on tour from June 23 to 26. Priced at $575 per person twin share, it includes an extra night in Vancouver, two days travelling Gold Leaf Class to Banff including accommodation in Kamloops and Banff, and a couch transfer to Calgary.

The International Cruise Council Australasia is a not-for-profit organisation formed in 1996, committed to training travel consultants and raising consumer awareness of cruising.
