TravelManagers experience pleasing growth

Thursday, 15 November 2012

TravelManagers have had a ‘pleasing’ 2012, achieving both organic and network growth.

Announced at the TravelManagers 2013 National Conference in Fiji, the company revealed a seven percent organic growth in business, while agent numbers jumped by 70 to 370.

Aiming to maintain growth, the mobile group’s chairman Barry Mayo told e-Travel Blackboard that in 2013 the company will expand on existing support and opportunities for agents in new ways.

Among the support will include continued production of webinars, utilising social media opportunities and in particular, landing extra familiarisation opportunities.

Although reaching targets to deliver more than 100 famil seats in 2012, Mr Mayo said it was particularly important for the company to offer more famil opportunities as a fun means of increasing knowledge and updating agents on changes in certain destinations.

Meanwhile in 2013, the group also hopes to continue building its network and promoting its business through new online and social media strategies.
