The Australian carrier has announced it will migrate to reservation system, SabreSonic CSS. Announced at the airline’s Annual General Meeting, Virgin Australia chief executive John Borghetti said, the move would be made in January next year to “enhance the customer experience” through the system’s customer recognition. The chief added that a single system would also remove duplication and allow agents to book Virgin flights with “greater ease and confidence”. “It will also improve access to both global and local markets – it will significantly increase the visibility of our domestic and international products with local travel agents in Australia and with all distribution channels around the world,” he said. |
