Greeley Koch Starts New Role as Executive Director for ACTE

Tuesday, 4 December 2012

The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) is pleased to welcome Greeley S. Koch as the new ACTE Executive Director.  The announcement about Koch being chosen as the new ACTE Executive Director was made at the ACTE Global Education Conference held in Rome in October.  He officially started his role today.

"Greeley brings with him a passion for the corporate travel industry and a wealth of experience and perspectives, including that of a corporate buyer, TMC supplier, government planner and consultant,” said Suzanne Neufang, president of the ACTE Board of Directors.  "ACTE has never been in a better position to offer game-changing global education and networking opportunities and I and the entire ACTE Board, are excited to see the association move forward under Greeley’s leadership.”

Koch was most recently Director, Strategy Development at Acquis Consulting Group, a boutique consulting firm, and is a veteran business executive with more than 20 years of experience in the corporate travel industry.  He has held positions in all of the sectors that make up ACTE’s membership and interests, including government, corporate buyers and suppliers and consulting, which gives him the ability to bring together all the necessary viewpoints.  Koch has held positions with the Office of the Governor of Illinois, Abbott Laboratories, Bank of America, TQ3Navigant, TRX, Inc. and most recently Acquis.  Additionally, he has been an integral member of ACTE on a volunteer basis since 2000, including Chairman of ACTE Global Centre for Research & Education and President of Board of Directors.

According to Koch, “I am excited to begin my new role at ACTE and travel to Sydney for the first ACTE Australasia conference where delegates will begin to gather for the 5 – 6 December educational event.  We will finish 2012 on a very strong note as we held over 70 events in 15 different countries.”
