Cruise tickets ready but still two weeks away from boarding your next cruise? Well now you can start your cruise journey early with Trackaship.

Launched in 2011, Trackship lets cruisers and cruise fans follow ships and their whereabouts by simply downloading the app and searching for the ship.

With a database of up to 300,000 ships worldwide, app users are able to receive information including update times, vessel IDs, ship type, navigational status, estimate time of arrival and even the ship’s dimensions.

As well, for those eager to see the ship before boarding, there is option to download high resolution image inspection.

The app will show users between 0-500 ships at any time and even allows guests to upload and share their own images with other users.

Cost

Trackaship SuperLite is free to download – only displays ship information received within the last 10 minutes and will only show ships within the area.

Trackaship full version is AU$5.49

Available On

iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
Why We Love It

Sharing holidays pics with other cruisers is always a plus, but watching your cruise ship sail into your port is definitely the highlight of the app.

Lost In Translation

At times ship information cannot be guaranteed because of outside factors including service disruption.

We Rate It

We give it an 8/10 – easy to use and fun to play.

Digging it or tossing it? Let us know what you think of the App.
