Drawing the winner of Rydges DreamBed®, Rydges Area General Manager for Cairns, Matthew Hurley and Rydges Director of Sales, Debra Irvine

When Queenslander, Andrew Shuttleworth checked out from his stay at Rydges Plaza before Christmas, he didn’t dream he’d be taking the bed with him.  But in a stroke of luck, yesterday Andrew’s name was drawn the winner of a Rydges DreamBed® for simply booking and staying in the hotel between the qualifying promotion period of December 2011 and January 2012.

A Rydges Priority Guest, Andrew was delighted to hear the good news yesterday saying, “I really enjoy staying at Rydges Hotels because of the beds – and now I’ll have one of my own at home!”

Sales director of Rydges Esplanade, Tradewinds and Plaza hotels in Cairns, Debra Irvine said Rydges DreamBed® promotion – giving all guests staying in one of the Cairns hotels during December and January the chance to win their own Dream Bed – had been hailed a great success.

The prize of one, queen sized, Rydges DreamBed® ensemble (base and mattress) was drawn on 1 February 2012 at 2pm at Rydges Tradewinds offices in Cairns by Rydges Hotels and Resorts area general manager, Matthew Hurley (pictured left) and Director of Sales, Debra Irvine. 

The bed is being delivered to Mr Shuttleworth’s Wamuran (near Caboolture in south east Queensland) home within the next two weeks.
