TravelManagers reassert initiatives

Tuesday, 6 March 2012

Mobile Consultant Group TravelManagers has reminded the travel industry that its agents are online and on their own personal websites, an initiative launched back in 2009.

Despite recent claims from competitor home based group MTA as being the “world’s first” to rollout personal websites, Barry Mayo Director of Travel Managers stressed it’s agents had been utilising personal websites for the last three years.

Mr Mayo advised that TravelManagers has a widespread social media referral system that has been a feature that existed from the beginning of the launch of TravelManagers’ individual personal travel manager web profiles.

TravelManagers’ personal travel managers have been enjoying the benefits of personalized eNewsletters at an average of more than two per month since June 2009.

“TravelManagers eNewsletters are so personalised that if a client hits reply the responding email goes directly to their personal travel manager,” Mr Mayo said.

Additionally, the system was improved in August last year allowing personal travel managers access to the system to send additional or alternative newsletters.

“Our personal travel managers now have the option to create their own personalised eNewsletters using TravelManagers’ highly integrated newsletter content management systems and templates, plus they can create infinite amounts of separate mailing lists based on market segments and special interests”, Mr Mayo added.

TravelManagers members receive reports from TravelManagers’ national partnership office on the success of their newsletters by the number of client openings and clicks of links etc.

Mr Mayo said approximately 200 of the 330 plus personal travel managers have their own individual personalised web pages.
