Daniela Tatonetti – Personal Travel Manager

TravelManagers’ personal travel manager, Daniela Tatonetti, who is representative for Wannaroo in Western Australia, has just achieved the highest commission ever earned for a personal travel manager in a single month, $60,000 commission for the month of March. Tatonetti was also a finalist in the 2011 Avis Scholarship of Excellence and won TravelManagers’ “Most improved Sales” at their national conference last year. She was also recognized as one of TravelManagers top 10 personal travel managers for 2011 sales volume.

“I can’t believe I did $60,000 in one month! I have been in the travel industry for a long time and this is the largest commission month I have ever had in 16 years!”

TravelManagers’ executive general manager, Mandy Scotney says the ability for personal travel managers to earn significant commission is very strong with their model.

“The earning capacity of our personal travel managers is a huge draw card, the combination of dedication alongside access to the best support in the industry with six business partnership managers located in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, state-of-the-art IT systems, dynamic marketing initiatives and a commission structure that lends itself to specifically benefiting the personal travel manager.”

Scotney says that all of their personal travel managers have full access to major suppliers with net rates or the highest commission levels.

“TravelManagers provides its personal travel managers with buying power equivalent to that of a national travel agency network, the partnerships we have with our suppliers are built on life-time relationships with our directors and senior executives.”

Tatonetti says signing with TravelManagers was one of the most significant decisions of her life.

“Becoming a personal travel manager is a step I thought long and hard about, I actually wish I’d acted faster as only good things have come from this. I earn more by working smarter not harder, the TravelManagers model rewards me and supports me in a way no one else does in the industry.”

Tatonetti says she has no idea why someone would consider owning or managing a traditional bricks and mortar travel agency.

“My earning capacity with TravelManagers is equal to or better than owning my own travel agency and I don’t have to worry about rent, staff and compliance costs or franchise fees. TravelManagers’ technology provides me with 24/7 access to my client files, the booking systems plus performance and accounting reports so it’s like having your own business but without the hassle, I couldn’t be happier.”
